Johannesburg- South African students are struggling to get admission to Higher Institutions due to a lack of funding. This challenge can be addressed only if the right people are in office. The African National Congress (ANC) seems to continue failing the South African people by deploying corrupt leaders in government.
OUTA reported that Minister of Higher Education and NSFAS Board chairperson Ernest Khosa received a bribe for NSFAS tenders. These revelations by OUTA pushed the South African Union of Students and the Democratic Alliance to call for Nzimande’s resignation or be fired.
This is due to the voice recordings which reveal that Nzimande and Khosa received millions in bribe for tenders by NSFAS service provider. According to the spokesperson of Activist and Citizens Forum – Dennis Bloem, Minister Nzimande is always embroiled in corruption allegations, therefore as a country we can not afford to have that kind of leadership in finance.
