South Africa takes Israel to ICJ over Gaza genocide case.
The Post News- Israel responds to South Africa’s application at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). In a statement, Israel said it is committed to international law and acts in accordance with it, and directs its military efforts only to the Hamas terrorist organization and other terrorist groups cooperating with Hamas, and that every effort is made to limit harm to the non-involved and to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip.

Contrary to Israel’s statement, evidence points to Israel’s conflicts with the people of Gaza. Since the war began on October 7, over 21,000 people have been killed, including journalists and United Nations employees. In its applications to ICC, South Africa claims that Israel violates its obligations under the Genocide Convention; it further submits that acts and omissions by Israel are genocidal in character, as they are committed with the required specific intent.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has briefed his cabinet, stating that the war will continue, and that international pressure won’t stop the war. The war will only stop when its goal is achieved, he added.
