United State Condemns Putin’s Aggression
Today marked the two-year anniversary of Russia-Ukraine war. This year’s anniversary left President Vladimir Putin with little to report to the Russian society. Russia seems to be loosing most of the territories it had captured at the beginning of the war. The death of Aleksey Navalny is a major blow on Kremlin.
In a statement, U.S. President Joe Biden said, “A dictator bent on rebuilding an empire will never be able to erase the people’s love of liberty. Brutality will never grind down the will of the free. And Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia”.
Biden says the United State and its partners have today imposed over 500 new sanctions in response to Putin’s brutal war and Aleksey Navalny’s death. “Putin is betting on us to walk away. We won’t,” emphasize Biden.
On Friday, Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba insisting that “Ukraine will win the war” and victory would come “sooner rather than later” with international support.
