Pep Guardiola has won 17 titles with the Citizens and recently lost the FA Cup losing 2-1 to Manchester United.
According to BeSoccer, Guardiola, who has a contract with Manchester City until 2025, is planning to leave the Citizens at the end of the next season (2024/25), when his contract ends.
Manchester City is considering a possible replacement with the likes of Michel Sanchez, Xabi Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi, and others.
Among the mentioned coaches Sanchez has dazzled this season by achieving historic qualification for the Champions League with Girona.
Xabi has been unstoppable in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, making history by winning the German Cup without losing a match.
Meanwhile, De Zerbi set a record by ending his tenure at Brighton after two seasons.
The English newspaper added that the club wants Guardiola to stay, but plans to give him space so that he does not feel under pressure to make a decision. Whichever decision he makes, the club wishes he renew his contract after the 2024/25 season.
