(The Post News)- The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) announced its new government cabinet members on Wednesday, May 29, following months of political uncertainty since the reelection of President Felix Tshisekedi.
The new cabinet comprises 54 ministers, a reduction from the previous 57.
Among the key appointments is Prime Minister Judith Sumonwa Tuluka, who became Congo’s first female prime minister in early April.
Under the new leadership, the prime minister is Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, who is very well known for their technocratic approach.
