The event celebrated achievements across various competitions, including the MTN8, Carling Black Label Cup, Nedbank Cup, DSTV Diski Challenge, NFD, and DSTV Premiership League.

The buccaneer’s number-one choice goalkeeper was able to win the MTN8 Last Man Standing award. He was awarded because of his outstanding performance before the Nedbank Cup, especially during the penalty shootout against Sundown’s in the final, and managed to secure the bag with R80 000.
Orlando Pirates’ back-to-back domestic double made Buccaneers players strong contenders for the Nedbank Cup awards.
Winning the Nedbank Cup was key to the Orlando Pirates’ successful season, mirroring their past achievements. Relebogile Mofokeng won the Nedbank Young Player of the Tournament, highlighting the team’s impressive performance.
Since his promotion to the first team, Mofokeng has made a significant impact on the club. His combination with Patrick Maswanganyi kept the competition intense, with Maswanganyi winning Player of the Tournament.
In the DSTV Premiership, Maswanganyi’s magnificent performances throughout the season led the Bucs to numerous victories, earning him widespread admiration from fans.
The DSTV Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season award was won by Ronwen Williams, the number-one choice keeper and captain of the South African national team.
Williams kept the most clean sheets in the league and made crucial saves, including penalties, both in the DSTV Premiership and during the recent AFCON.
His exceptional performances earned him the prestigious DSTV Premiership Player of the Season award.
The DSTV midfielder of the season was named Patrick Maswanganyi for his outstanding performance in the middle of the pitch, being able to dominate and create more chances with the ability to showcase his skills.
This player was able to win man of the match at two derbies this season. For the DSTV Premiership, the Golden Boot was won by Tshegofatso Mabaso of the Orlando Pirates for recording 16 league goals.
DSTV Player of the Season was awarded once again to Patrick Tito Maswanganyi, who was one of the players who had a wonderful season in his full season with the club. The display he displayed this season was so good to the point that fans of football can’t stop talking about his abilities in the field of play.
DSTV Premiership Defender of the Season was won by Grant Kekana for his capabilities in the defence of Sundowns.
The DSTV Premiership goal of the season was won by Thabiso Lebitso for his goal in the Soweto Darby, making it a memory goal for every fan of South African football.
Devin Tatus of Stellenbosch was named the Carling Black Label Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance, leading his club to victory.
Ntando Nkosi of Sundowns won the DSTV Diski Challenge Player of the Season. Additionally, Prince Nxumalo recorded an impressive 18 goals for the JDR Stars.
For the match officials, Referee of the Season was won by Sikhumbuzo Gasa, and Assistant Referee of the Season was won by Romario Phiri.
