The player’s performance has been exceptional, he has scored 17 goals within the played in 49 games. A few of them were key goals just like the brace that took Carlo Ancelotti’s team to the Champions League final, and thanks to this he was called into Spain’s squad for the European Championship.
Despite success, the player is planning to leave the La Liga League. At the moment, his contract with RCD Espanyol is valid till June 30 2025 and the ‘Pericos’ have accomplished promotion to La Liga.
