(The Post News)- Gary Donaldson, a Leeds United fan, named his newborn son Lucas Radebe in honor of former Kaizer Chiefs defender.
On Wednesday, Donaldson announced that his partner had given birth to a boy on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter. Donaldson revealed that his son’s name was Lucas in homage to the guy known as “The Chief”.
Whoa! Greetings from the land of plenty to Lucas and congratulations, Gary. On X, Radebe responded, “May God bless him to realize his talent.” Between 1994 and 2005, Radebe played for Leeds United for eleven seasons, making his impact and continuing to be regarded as one of the greatest players to have captained the club.
The 1996 African Cup of Nations winner guided the Yorkshire team to the Uefa Champions League semifinals the next season and a third-place Premier League result in the 1999–2000 campaign.
But before playing overseas, he was a Kaizer Chiefs centre back. Managed to play for approximately 262.
As one of the most marketable retired local football players, Radebe represents a number of companies, including Huawei, Lays, Jawitz Properties, and Betway.
