(The Post News)- Ukraine has unveiled a new arsenal of long-range drones, manufactured with Western technology and financing. This bold move has the potential to challenge Russia’s military dominance and shift the balance of power in the region.
The latest development comes on the heels of Ukraine’s successful attacks on critical Russian military assets, including air force bases, oil depots, and command centers. These strikes demonstrate Ukraine’s capability to carry the fight to Russia, but only with the necessary armaments.
Ukraine’s drone manufacturing industry has witnessed rapid growth, with companies like Terminal Autonomy producing hundreds of armed one-way attack drones per month. Founded by former Australian Army Royal Engineer Serra Martins and his Ukrainian counterpart, Terminal Autonomy has become a leading player in Ukraine’s drone revolution.
With a range of 750 km (465 miles), the AQ400 Scythe drone is a formidable weapon, capable of striking deep within Russian territory. The company’s ability to produce over 100 of these drones monthly is a testament to Ukraine’s growing capabilities.
The AQ100 Bayonet drone, with a flight range of several hundred kilometers, further bolsters Ukraine’s arsenal. Hundreds of these drones are produced monthly, providing Ukraine with a significant advantage in terms of sheer numbers.
