(The Post News)– Iran fired at least 200 missiles into Israel on Tuesday, the most recent in a string of swiftly intensifying strikes between Israel and Iran and its Arab allies that has the potential to bring the Middle East closer to a regional conflict. According to Israel’s national rescue agency, two persons suffered minor shrapnel wounds. Although it was unclear where the attack originated, Palestinian sources in the West Bank said that a Palestinian man had been killed by a missile that had fallen close to the town of Jericho.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani “made a big mistake tonight and it will pay for it,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared late on Tuesday that his country would take revenge.
