Skeem Saam brings in new faces and unfolds another dramatic story line.
(The Post News)- After the intense Ntswaki and Toby’s story-line, Skeem Saam introduces new characters to shake up the drama. Famous actors Warren Masemola and Lesley Musina are going to join SABC 1’s popular drama series Skeem Saam this coming November.
Masemola will take on the role of Gopane, a taxi driver from Turfloop now in Johannesburg. His sudden arrival follows months of uncertainty about his son Smaki’s disappearance. Meanwhile, Musina will take on the role of Fefo, a catalyst for drama in Mr. Kgomo and Melita’s relationship.
Gopane leaves no stone unturned in uncovering the mystery surrounding his son. He finds satisfaction in bringing his character to life on set. Warren said, “It’s absolutely beautiful. I actually feel like I’m in Limpopo. Being a city boy who grew up in Tshwane, the set of Skeem Saam makes me feel like I’m back with my people.”
According to Musina, filming Skeem Saam is like a dream come true. The production is absolutely amazing. The welcoming atmosphere here made him feel at home right away when the cast, crew, and production team embraced him. It’s as if he’s been part of this forever.
On the surface, he’s charming and handsome, but beneath lies a threatening and turbulent personality.
