(The Post News)- Shaun Mogaila, a football player for Sekhukhune United, appeared before the Rabie Ridge Regional Court in Tembisa, Johannesburg East, on Friday, November 1, and was granted bail of R20,000.
Mogaila is alleged to have been involved in a collision that occurred on Wednesday morning and claimed the life of a 9-year-old child and injured two other people. He is facing charges of culpable homicide. According to Constable Thabiso Makgatho, Ekurhuleni Metro Police spokesperson, dagga, alcohol, and a powder suspected to be drugs were found in Mogaila’s car.
Makgatho said after the accident occurred, Mogaila fled the scene and turned himself in to the police on Wednesday afternoon, after receiving a call from his team, Sekhukhune United.
