MSC Cruise’s managing director in South Africa, Ross Wolf, has expressed his delight over the ship’s arrival. “MSC Musica is a great ship for South African travelers, with many bars and halls, sufficient deck space, and infinite entertainment for everyone,” he said. The MSC Foundation develops and leads the MSC Group’s conservation, education, health, and humanitarian initiatives, both independently and in partnership with trusted life-changing organizations such as UNICEF and Marevivo.
On board, passengers can enjoy a variety of entertainment options, including live entertainment, a casino, and nightclubs. Onboard amenities are also family-friendly, with dedicated clubs and arcade games for younger passengers. Onboard dining will incorporate local flavors, and renowned South African performers will entertain guests throughout the voyage. The local cruise season offers itineraries showcasing some of southern Africa’s most beautiful destinations. These include visits to Pomaine, Mauritius, Madagascar, and Reunion, as well as excursions to the Portuguese Islands off the coast of Mozambique. In early 2025, MSC Musica will re-base in Cape Town, from where it will offer cruises to Lüderitz and Walvis Bay, Namibia.
MSC Cruise is still engaged in the development of economic growth in South Africa, investing in port infrastructure, and offering employment possibilities for young people in the country. Ross Wolf underlined the loyalty of the company to the region, claiming that “our commitment to South Africa is unchanged and goes beyond the provision of excellent experience and excellent service to our customers.” Upon arrival in Durban, MSC Musica promises South African travelers an unforgettable cruise experience. Whether you are looking for relaxation, entertainment, or a cultural experience, this incredible ship has something for everyone.
