(The Post News)- Max Verstappen demonstrated his dominance once again with a thrilling victory at the rain-soaked São Paulo Grand Prix. Starting from P17, Verstappen executed a remarkable comeback to clinch the win by a commanding 19.477 seconds. This marks his first Grand Prix victory since June and adds to his impressive season, which saw him secure his fourth World Championship earlier this year.
The chaotic race was defined by multiple yellow flags and a challenging wet track, which led to high-profile crashes, including those of Franco Colapinto and Carlos Sainz. Verstappen’s masterclass overshadowed strong performances by Alpine drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, who secured an unexpected double podium finish for the team.
Despite starting on pole, McLaren’s Lando Norris struggled to maintain the lead, ultimately finishing sixth. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc placed fifth, with George Russell narrowly missing the podium in a hard-fought battle. The race highlighted Verstappen’s resilience and solidified his status among Formula 1’s elite.
