Magesi celebrating their victory over Mamelodi Sundowns to lift the Carling Black Lable Cup
(The Post News)- On Tuesday morning, November 26, Magesi FC, the 2024 Carling Black Label Knockout champions, began their trophy tour. This comes after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, November 23, in Bloemfontein, Free State.

From the club’s initial base in Moletjie Moshate, the players, technical team, and management will bring the trophy closer to its devoted fan base. The tournament will end in Polokwane, the capital city of the Limpopo province. Magesi FC will also stop by the Premier’s Office as part of the tour.
The players will be ready to sign Blue Nation jerseys along the route. According to the club statement, their motorcade route plan will be as follows: to get to SABC Park, they will take Nelson Mandela Drive to Moletji Moshate, Seshego Plaza, and Seshego Circle Center, turn left onto Rissik Street, then left onto Market Street, and turn right onto Hospital Street. They will then continue straight on Landros Mare Street from SABC Park, stop at the Civic Center, turn left onto Bodenstein Street, turn left onto Hans van Rensburg Street, and stop at the Premier’s Office. Proceed directly to Savannah Mall after making a right turn onto Grobler Street.

As the tour continues, the club will turn left onto the R71 and R81 connection roads to the Mall of the North after rejoining Grobler Street from Savannah Mall. To reach Mankweng Paledi Mall, they will take the left on R71, and then take R71 back to Polokwane via Paledi Mall. To return to Meropa, turn left onto N1 South at the bypass.

He first saved it from relegation in the Premiership Soccer League (PSL) Second Division, brought it to the PSL First Division, and last week won the Black Label Cup. Magesi FC demonstrated with Sundowns that their moniker, Electricity FC, is not a coincidence. They overcame a 1-0 deficit to win 2-1 in ninety minutes.
