(The Post News)- Following Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Gharafa in the American Football Conference’s (AFC) Champions League Elite last night, Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal-scoring days are back. Ronaldo scored two goals, ensuring that Al Nassr’s winning streak continues.Â

Â
However, a little over 50 seconds into the second half, the Portugal star headed home Sultan Al Ghannam’s cross from close range to ultimately open the score. After 58 minutes, Al Nassr extended their lead thanks to Chelsea summer acquisition Angelo Gabriel. Six minutes later, the Brazilian set up Ronaldo for his second goal.
Â
Before being replaced on minute 74, the goal put the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus strikers to four goals in this season’s rebranded league. Al Gharafa did make a comeback with Joselu, Ronaldo’s former Madrid colleague. However, when Seydou Sano was dismissed for a second bookable offense six minutes from the end of regular time, their chances of an unlikely late revival vanished.Â
Â
With the victory, Al Nassr moves up to second place in the 12-team standings and guarantees that they will remain undefeated after five games on the Western side of the draw.
