This comprehensive aid package, announced during the Reagan National Defense Forum in California, is designed to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia.
The $988 million aid package, courtesy of the Biden Administration, marks a significant shift in the US’s approach to supporting Ukraine’s war efforts. Rather than relying on US weapons stocks, the package enables Ukraine to purchase weapons directly from manufacturers.
