(The Post News)– Kylie Walker’s arrival from Manchester City was confirmed by AC Milan following a request to leave Manchester earlier this month. The former Citizens captain signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the eight-time champions. Italy reported Wednesday afternoon that Walker’s anticipated transfer from Man City to Milan was finalised.
Meanwhile, reports have stated that City has agreed to transfer the 34-year-old on loan to the Rossoneri for the rest of the season at no cost. Even though Walker and his representatives had previously agreed to a contract through 2027, Milan still needed to set up a buyout option with Pep Guardiola’s team.
Moreover, other reports have confirmed that an agreement has finally been struck, while also stating that Milan will recruit the Englishman on loan for the rest of the 2024–25 campaign, with the option to make the move permanent in the summer for a fee of €5 million R96,310,355.31.
When the summer transfer window opens in 2026, Walker will be entering the last year of his Manchester City deal. On Thursday, he is expected to travel to Italy for his medical examination with Sergio Conceicao’s team. Walker’s annual salary is expected to be €4 million, which is equivalent to R77,299,845.39., after signing the new contract with Milan.
