S3 HOSTS THE 67TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS.
(The Post News)– South Africans, get ready to experience the biggest night in music entertainment! S3 has acquired the license to broadcast the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, and we could not be more excited. The ceremony, hosted by none other than Trevor Noah for the fifth time in a row, promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, glamour, and celebration.
The Grammy Awards, presented by the Recording Academy of the United States, recognize outstanding achievements in the music industry. This year’s event will be held at the (link unavailable) Arena in Los Angeles and will feature a series of special performances, including the annual In Memorial segment, a star-studded salute to the life and legacy of Quincy Jones, and touching tributes celebrating the spirit of the city of Los Angeles.
According to Sane Zondi, Head of the Channel, “The biggest night in music entertainment is coming to S3, which is a big win for the channel, and it is a testament to the growth and turnaround strategy in place.” This move is part of S3’s efforts to aggressively pursue big-ticket shows and events to drive audiences back to the channel.
We are thrilled to see Trevor Noah hosting the Grammys for the fifth time in a row. As Sane Zondi notes, “At S3, we celebrate our own, and we hope the viewers will celebrate Trevor Noah being on a PBS channel again and enjoy the musical acts and entertainment.”
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will air on S3 this Monday, February 3, at 19h00, with a repeat on Saturday, February 8, at 19h30. Mark your calendars and get ready to experience the magic of the Grammys from the comfort of your own home!
