(The Post News)– Over the past weekend, Jessica Alba spent time with her kids, Honour and Haven, in New Orleans, making the most of Super Bowl weekend. The actress, who starred in Into the Blue and Fantastic Four, gave fans a peek into her life after she and her estranged husband, film producer Cash Warren, split up by posting pictures from their vacation on Instagram.
Alba, 43, captured a selfie with her two daughters, Honour, 16, and Haven, 13, in their hotel room, tagging the location as New Orleans and adding a “Super Bowl” sticker to the post. The caption read, “Girls Weekend,” reflecting the relaxed vibe of the trip.
Alba also tweeted a glimpse from her seat at Caesar’s Superdome during Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance, as well as pictures of her girls overlooking the crowds from their hotel balcony in the French Quarter. During their trip across the city, the actress and her daughters were spotted having a great time together while wearing matched little black gowns.
This marks Alba’s first public appearance since officially filing for divorce from her husband of 16 years. Together, the two have three kids, including Hayes, who is seven years old. Although the reasons for their divorce are still unknown, sources have suggested that the couple had been living apart for a while prior to making the announcement public. Their split was first made public in early January.
Alba and Warren’s divorce has been described as amicable, with both requesting joint physical and legal custody of their children. They are yet to finalise their financial settlements. The former couple first met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004 and married in 2008. Warren did consider their relationship in a recent interview, admitting that envy had been a problem in the early years of their marriage.
Warren and Alba have both underlined their dedication to co-parenting their kids and preserving a cordial relationship for the benefit of their family, even though they are no longer together. After their divorce was announced, Alba told the media that she was proud of their journey together and that she wanted to go in a positive route.
