Muhsin Ertugral confirms Thulani Serero’s impending arrival at Cape Town City, with the midfielder expected to be ready for the match against AmaZulu in early March.
(The Post News)- Thulani Serero’s impending arrival at Cape Town City was almost confirmed by Muhsin Ertugral, but it is unlikely that he will be available before City’s match against AmaZulu in early March. Tuesday’s 2-0 loss to Chippa United at Athlone Stadium raises the possibility that Serero could help improve City’s patchy recent performance.
Serero, who has been training at City for the past few weeks, is returning to the United Arab Emirates to finalize certain matters before joining his family in the coming week, according to Ertugral. Ertugral stated that Serero might be ready for the match against AmaZulu, even if he won’t be available for City’s upcoming away game against Orlando Pirates.
“He is returning to the Emirates as soon as possible, but he is undoubtedly a solution for us, just not against the Pirates,” Ertugral said.

“He must therefore bring his family back and sort them out. He will most likely travel to the Emirates tomorrow and return over the weekend, and he will undoubtedly be prepared for the upcoming match against AmaZulu,” Ertugral said.
