(The Post News)– A dispute erupted between the African National Congress (ANC) and the Democratic Alliance (DA) last week Friday over the planned VAT increase, which was revealed by Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana in his latest budget.
Khakhau says the DA’s main priority is to implement its desired economic policy and reforms. Khakhau can confirm that conversations are constructive now, but there is no deal yet. Khakhau says they are getting closer to each other, as the DA’s main priorities are ensuring that they can get the economic policy and its reform that they wanted.
Khakhau added that they will ensure that they grow the economy, create jobs and bridge the gap between the rich and the poor in the country. The only way they can do so is by having a very rigorous approach towards growing the GDP and spending in the economy and loosening up opportunities for job creation.
