(The Post News)– Brad Binder’s hopes for a strong result at the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas were dashed when electrical issues forced him to retire his Red Bull KTM. The setback capped off a frustrating weekend at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.
His teammate, Pedro Acosta, also faced technical difficulties, retiring just 10 laps into the race after experiencing rear vibrations in Saturday’s Sprint. Binder had also struggled in the Sprint, finishing 12th and missing out on valuable championship points.
Reflecting on the race, Binder noted that despite the chaotic start, he had built solid momentum and felt confident in his positioning. Unfortunately, just as he was preparing to push, the technical issue forced him out. It was a weekend to forget for Binder and Red Bull KTM, but he will be looking to bounce back stronger in the next round.
