(The Post News)– The UEFA Champions League (UCL) first-leg semi-final showdown between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) commenced at 21:00 at the Emirates Stadium in London, England. The Gunners have already beaten the Parisians on home soil this season in the UCL; tables turned as PSG beat them 1-0.
Four minutes into the game, the Les Parisiens took an early lead, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia assisting Ousmane Dembele to put PSG ahead of the Gunners. A stunning goal from the penalty area, putting it at the back of the net.
Gunners lost, but they were in high spirits; two chances were not converted due to goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s blocks. A block for a corner from Leandro Trossard and the other shot stopped from Gabriel Martinelli. The game settled with a win for PSG and a high ball possession over Arsenal, with more corners for the Gunners (3) and PSG (1). Attacking was 21, with PSG on 11 and Arsenal on ten.
