(The Post News)– R. Kelly, the king of R&B, has released a new single while behind bars. The AI-generated single titled “God Protect Ibrahim Traore” is dedicated to Ibrahim Traore and Burkina Faso. The song was released following Traore’s attempted assassination.
In the song, he praises Traore’s love for his people and his resilience in fighting for his people. He further encourages Traore to continue fighting for his people; the song is his prayer for the protection of Traore and Burkina Faso.
According to the song, Kelly believes that Burkina Faso is a praying nation that has suffered for a long time and “bled too deep”, and it is high time they got the justice they deserve. He further urges God to provide Traore the “strength to finish what he started”.
Meanwhile, the song currently has over 1,138,390 views on YouTube and has gained a lot of traction with more people listening to it. Others are even commenting on the platform, expressing excitement over it.
This song is one of many that Kelly has released inside prison. Earlier this year, he released a soul-touching gospel song titled “Please Forgive Me”, in which he is asked for forgiveness from his country.
Kelly’s reception demonstrates that when you are given, you will always have that gift, and that music is more than simply entertainment; it has enormous power to heal, send a message, and even unite people.
