Court proceedings resumed today after the media was finally granted permission to broadcast the appearance of two suspects in connection with the disappearance of Sibusiso Aserie Ndlovu and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli, in February 2025. The two suspects who made an appearance last Friday, May 9, 2025, now face the possibility of charges including house robbery, carjacking, stolen property, and potentially murder, depending on the developments of the investigation.
Police are currently searching for two additional suspects believed to have been involved in the disappearance of Ndlovu and Mdhluli. The suspects have been named as Thato David Madisha and Sello “Skhalo” Uoane, who is allegedly out on parole for a rape conviction. Authorities are urging both individuals to hand themselves over.
Meanwhile, the loved ones of the victims continue to wait for the DNA results to confirm the identities of the remains discovered in Limpopo, as officials say it will take weeks before they receive the results. Zodwa Mdhluli’s sister expressed to the media today that waiting for the DNA results is affecting their ability to find closure.
The family of Zodwa Mdhluli continues to seek closure as the aunt of Zodwa explains her disappointment in not receiving the DNA results today as they had hoped. Despite the circumstances, she remains grateful for the involvement of the media in the case, as she believes their coverage has helped accelerate the pursuit of justice for the victims.
