(The Post News)- Orlando Pirates confirmed that their Head Coach, Jose Riveiro is considered for termination before his announced date of departure June 2025. This came after the club lost to Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup. Buccaneers also lost in the CAF Champions semifinals to Pyramids.
“The Club has granted Coach Riveiro an early release from his contract, which was originally set to run until the end of June 2025,” stated the media statement.

The statement stated that the Chairman articulated that they delayed the announcement for the Nedbank Cup final. “His contribution since joining the Club has been immense.
