(The Post News)- Skai Jackson, a former Disney star, has taken a stand against Deondre Burgin, the father of her three-month-old son. She is filed for a restraining order, citing physical and emotional abuse throughout their relationship. The allegations are shocking and raise serious concerns about Jackson’s safety.
According to court documents, Jackson claims Burgin has subjected her to multiple incidents of abuse, including choking, scratching, and slamming her head against walls.
The situation allegedly escalated during her pregnancy, with Burgin making violent threats and engaging in destructive behaviour. One incident on Mother’s Day is particularly disturbing, with Jackson alleging that Burgin grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head against a car window while she held their infant baby.
What’s even more alarming is that Burgin owns three firearms, including a rifle, which has intensified Jackson’s concerns for her safety. Given his history of legal issues, including a 90-day jail sentence for a parole violation when Jackson gave birth, it is no wonder she is seeking protection.
This is not the first time a celebrity has spoken out about domestic abuse. Halle Bailey recently filed for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend DDG, citing similar allegations. Both cases highlight the importance of prioritising safety and seeking help when needed.
