(The Post News)- Two females suspects, aged 25 and 26 have been arrested in connection to the kidnapping of newborn babies from Dora Nginza Hospital in Gqeberha.
The premature babies were reported missing by their mothers Tuesday night. The two babies are four days old and two days old.
Sandra Janse van Rensburg, police spokesperson said” As one of the SAPS officers was busy exiting the premises of the hospital he noticed two females with infants and immediately approached the two females and after further interrogation the two infants were identified as the two babies that were stolen last night.’
Janse van Rensburg praised swift work of a police officer that saw the babies being re-united with their mothers on Wednesday.
The two suspects are espected to appear at the New Brighton Magistrates Court during this week.
