(The Post News)- The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs took a dramatic turn when rapper Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, took the stand to testify about a disturbing incident involving his Porsche being torched. According to Kid Cudi, the incident occurred after Diddy discovered he was dating Cassie Ventura, his ex-girlfriend.
Kid Cudi recounted the unsettling events that unfolded after Diddy found out about his relationship with Cassie Ventura. He claimed that tensions escalated to the point where his Porsche was burnt using a Molotov cocktail. Dramatic photos of the incident were shown to the jury, providing visual evidence of the alleged arson.
The trial also featured testimony from Homeland Security Investigations special agent Gerard Gannon, who was responsible for planning the raid on Diddy’s Miami home last year. Gannon’s testimony provided insight into the investigation and the events leading up to the raid.
The trial has seen 16 witnesses testify over two weeks, with more expected to take the stand when the trial resumes after the Memorial Day holiday. Prosecutors allege that Diddy and his inner circle used threats, violence, and other forms of coercion to force Cassie Ventura and another woman into participating in his sex parties called “Freak Offs” and to protect his reputation.
When the trial resumes, Diddy’s former director of marketing, Capricorn Clark, and members of the LAPD and LAFD are expected to testify. The trial will continue on Tuesday, providing further insight into the allegations against Diddy.
Diddy denies all charges. If found guilty, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
