(The Post News)- The March in March organization has reiterated its commitment to fighting against illegal immigration in South Africa, citing the government’s perceived inaction on the issue.
According to the group’s spokesperson, Jacinta Ngobese Zuma, recent discoveries in Tshwane have highlighted the need for stricter enforcement of immigration laws. Zuma referenced the establishment of petrol stations by foreign nationals, allegedly from Somalia and Ethiopia, as evidence that illegal immigrants are not contributing to the economy through taxes and are instead undermining the country’s well-being.
“The fact that these individuals have their own infrastructure, such as petrol stations, demonstrates that they are operating outside of the law and not contributing to the tax base,” Zuma said. “This will ultimately lead to suffering for South African citizens in the future.”
The March in March organization has been vocal about its concerns regarding illegal immigration, and Zuma’s statement suggests that the group will continue to push for greater action from the government to address the issue.
