The globally renowned Museum of Illusions officially opens at 10 Kloof Street in Cape Town's Gardens this week, making it the second Museum of Illusions in South Africa and the third on the African continent.
(The Post News)– The Museum of Illusions was founded in Zagreb, Croatia, and has turned into a global success over the years, welcoming more than 12 million guests around the world.
Each museum location is a one-of-a-kind experience, featuring interactive exhibits that seamlessly blend science, art, and magic. Guests can look forward to 60 astonishing illusions and mind-bending experiences, perfect for all ages.
At Cape Town’s Museum of Illusions, guests will have the opportunity to get hands-on interacting, exploring, and capturing every moment. From walking on walls in the Tilted Room to appearing headless at the Clone Table or seeing endless versions of yourself in the Infinity Room, every exhibit offers a mind-blowing adventure you won’t soon forget.
Located in the vibrant heart of Cape Town’s city centre, the museum offers an unforgettable journey through a world of optical illusions, hands-on installations, and immersive spaces designed to challenge your perception and spark your curiosity.

The Museum of Illusions Cape Town will be open 7 days a week. Mondays to Wednesdays from 7pm, Thursdays to Saturdays from 9am to 9pm, and Sundays and public holidays from 9am to 7pm. Tickets are available online and at the door. Tickets start from R200.
