(The Post News)- Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lavish Holmby Hills mansion, valued at $61.5 million, has been on the market for over 200 days with no buyer in sight. The 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom estate boasts luxury amenities like a 35-seat movie theater, disco ball-inspired sculpture, grotto pool, traditional pizza oven, guesthouse with recording studio, and spa facility.
The mansion’s association with the accused sex trafficker is a significant turn-off for potential buyers. According to Michael Tachovsky, partner at Landmark Research Group, “P. Diddy’s reputation, at the current time, really isn’t a positive bragging point for a potential buyer.” High-end homebuyers often seek prestige and exclusivity, which Combs’ embattled reputation can’t provide.
Despite the challenges, the mansion’s location on Mapleton Drive in Holmby Hills is highly sought after. Real estate agent Jack Harris notes that properties on this street are among the most prestigious in the area, with prices typically starting at over $20 million. In fact, a neighboring eight-bedroom property is listed for $62.5 million, just $1 million more than Combs’ asking price.
The mansion’s history adds to the complexity of its sale. In March 2024, law enforcement officials raided the property, reportedly seizing narcotics and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant. Combs faces federal charges, including racketeering, coercion, and physical abuse, which may further deter potential buyers.
Combs owns another notable property, a seven-bedroom, 14,800-square-foot home on Star Island in Miami. His ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura testified that this property was used for “freak offs,” but Combs’ Holmby Hills mansion was not. With his legal battles ongoing, it remains uncertain whether Combs can find a buyer for his luxury LA estate .
