(The Post News)- A late-night fire in Delhi’s Dilshad Garden area claimed the lives of a 24-year-old and a 60-year-old man. The blaze, which destroyed two e-rickshaws and several motorcycles, is believed to have been triggered by charging activities.
The fire broke out in the Kodi Colony locality, with the fire department receiving the call at 11:32 pm. Fire Officer Anup Singh stated that teams were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they conducted firefighting operations and brought the blaze under control.
Upon extinguishing the flames, the authorities discovered the two fatalities and the extensive damage to the vehicles. Singh noted that preliminary findings suggest the fire may have originated from e-rickshaw charging. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause.
This incident follows a similar fire at an e-rickshaw charging station in northeast Delhi’s Ghonda area two days prior. The earlier fire was brought under control with the assistance of four fire tenders. Authorities are still investigating both incidents and have not released further details. write headline for this article
