
India COVID-19 cases rises
(The Post News)- India recorded 33 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total case count to 7,154. Three COVID-related deaths were reported during the same period two in Maharashtra and one in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, more than 9,556 individuals have successfully recovered from COVID-19, marking a steady improvement in the country’s overall recovery rate.
As per data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday, India recorded 306 new COVID-19 infections on June 11, pushing the total case count to 7,121. During the same reporting period, six fatalities were confirmed one in Maharashtra, three in Kerala, and two in Karnataka.
Considering the recent increase in COVID-19 infections, the central government has rolled out precautionary exercises across healthcare facilities to review their level of readiness. Authorities have asked states to confirm the availability of key medical resources such as oxygen support, patient isolation areas, ventilators, and critical medicines. Officials have reassured the public that most current cases are mild in nature and are being safely handled through home-based care.
