(The Post News)– Elon Musk has shared what seems to be the results of a recent drug test, following past claims that he used illegal substances during his support for Donald Trump’s campaign last year.
The Tesla CEO posted a photo of the document on X, the social media platform he owns. It appeared to show negative results for over a dozen drugs, including ecstasy, ketamine, and cocaine.
The test was said to be done by Fastest Labs of South Austin after a urine sample was taken from someone listed as “Elon Musk” on 11 June. He added “lol” to the image, which was shared early Tuesday morning, US time.
The post comes after The New York Times reported in May that the SpaceX founder had taken drugs while supporting Mr Trump’s presidential campaign last year. However, the newspaper said it was “unclear” whether he continued to do so while involved with the White House.
In January 2024, The Wall Street Journal reported that top executives at both SpaceX and Tesla were worried about his alleged use of drugs. Musk has firmly denied those claims.
At his final White House press conference, he responded to The New York Times report by dismissing it and labelling the outlet’s coverage as “fake news”.
