Shauwn Mkhize Continues to Enjoy Life Despite Financial Woes

Although it’s only been a few days since the news of Shauwn Mkhize’s luxurious cars being auctioned off on the 27th of June hit the internet, the businesswoman and socialite, popularly known as “MaMkhize”, doesn’t seem to be bothered one bit as she continues to live life to the fullest with close family and friends.

On the 18th of June, reports revealed that MaMkhize’s football club owed the South African Revenue Service (SARS) a staggering R37 million, and as a result, 13 of her luxurious cars are up for sale on Bidders Choice. Some of the vehicles included in the auction consist of her Bentley, her limited-edition Maybach, her infamous customized G-Wagon, and more, all of which total up to more than R16,5 million.

The former reality TV star has kept a low profile for most of the year, with her last post being from April to June, unlike previous years, where she would regularly flaunt her lifestyle on Instagram. However, she seems to have come out of hiding to share some positive moments. On the 15th of June, the business mogul let her Instagram followers know that she was at the Basketball Africa League (BAL) games. 2 days later, she posted about her stay at the high-end Shekinah Lion Game Lodge with film producer Tarina Patel and Zimbabwean businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla. Sources revealed that a one-night stay at the lodge can go up to R15,000.

She shared another moment yesterday with her 2 friends getting spa treatments in her Durban Mansion, where they were all dressed in Versace robes that range up to R24,200, captioning the video “Girls Treat”.

While some people have trolled her in the comments about not paying her taxes, her die-hard fans have commended her for ‘living the life’. Many may pray for her downfall, but it is clear that MaMkhize is not the kind to look, or live, like her problems.
