Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Call It Quits After 9 Years

(The Post News)– After building a life together for almost 10 years, singer-songwriter Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom have reportedly called it quits.

Rumours of the two separating circulated online when fans noticed Katy Perry without her distinctive engagement ring as she performed throughout her “LifeTimes Tour” in Australia. Moreover, as the hitmaker performed her tear-jerking and certified heartbreak anthem titled “I’m Still Breathing”, she made a hinting remark about how the track is “about a breakup”, leaving fans wondering if she was announcing that she’s now a single woman.

According to reports, the singer and actor first started their romantic whirlwind at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards after-party. Only a year into their relationship, the two split and later resolved their issues in 2018. In 2019, the two announced their engagement when the singer posted her flower-shaped cluster ring on Instagram, and a year later, in 2020, Perry unveiled her pregnancy with her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in a music video.

Around 2022, fans began to ask questions as to why the pair had not tied the knot, considering they’d been engaged for approximately three years. However, because they were still making public appearances together, there was no cause for that – that is, until Perry’s Australian tour.

A close source to Bloom revealed to TMZ that he would be arriving solo to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Venice wedding later this week. In addition, the actor is also reported to be gearing up for a boys’ holiday with his long-time friend Leo DiCaprio whilst in Italy.

As speculations continue to travel around the Internet, neither Perry nor Bloom has confirmed anything.
