(The Post News)- A sudden fire on Sunday destroyed the home of former KwaZulu-Natal Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube in Kloof, Durban.
The blaze completely consumed the residence, and three vehicles parked nearby, leaving significant damage in its wake. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, which remains unknown.
No injuries have been reported, and it has not been confirmed whether anyone was home at the time of the fire.
African National Congress (ANC) provincial spokesperson Fanele Sibisi confirmed the extent of the damage and pledged support for Dube-Ncube during this difficult time.
“The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal stands by Premier Dube-Ncube and her family. In the spirit of uBuntu and revolutionary compassion, we call on all sectors of society to show empathy and solidarity. No one should face such devastation alone,” Sibisi said.
Further updates are expected as investigations continue.
