N2 vehicle collision: Fatal crash involving a truck and light motor vehicle on KwaZulu-Natal North Coast.
(The Post News)– According to the SABC, five individuals died in an N2 vehicle collision involving a truck and a light motor vehicle. Reports indicate all five victims rode inside the single vehicle during the N2 vehicle collision, showing the crash’s severity.
Meanwhile, paramedics stay on site as authorities investigate the cause of the N2 vehicle collision and secure the highway. Samantha Meyrick, spokesperson for Independent Paramedic Services (IPPS) and Search, said her teams actively manage the scene. She emphasized that drivers should maintain safe distances, reduce speed, and stay alert while passing the N2 vehicle collision area.
Furthermore, the van carried eleven prisoners awaiting trial from Mokopane to Mookgophong when the N2 vehicle collision tragically occurred. According to Arrive Alive, another fatal N2 vehicle collision occurred near Empangeni, involving a truck and a light delivery vehicle. This crash also caused multiple deaths, showing a worrying trend of serious accidents along the N2 corridor and high-risk stretches.

The Member of Executive Council (MEC) for Transport and Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma’s spokesperson Ndabezinhle Sibiya, said the MEC received a report.
