(The Post News)– South African athletes will continue stepping onto the world stage in proudly local gear after Mr. Price Sport confirmed the renewal of its partnership with the South African Sports Confederation Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SASCOC).
The new four-year deal, announced on Wednesday, cements Mr Price Sport as the official apparel sponsor for Team South Africa, with its high-performance brand, Maxed Elite, leading the way. Athletes will wear the homegrown label at major international events, from the Winter Olympics in Italy to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
This is not the first time Team SA has been dressed in Maxed Elite. The brand has been part of the journey since Tokyo 2020, right through to Paris 2024, where South African athletes proudly competed in designs inspired by local heritage.
Mr. Price Sport says the renewed agreement goes beyond clothing, describing it as an investment in excellence, resilience, and national pride. SASCOC leadership echoed this, noting that when athletes look and feel good, they are empowered to perform at their best.
For South Africans back home, Maxed Elite is available in stores nationwide, giving everyone the chance to wear the same gear as their sporting heroes.
