(The Post news) – An injured Cape Town traffic officer was found on Friday morning after a scary situation that left his colleagues worried and anxious. The discovery came after another officer, while on patrol near Baden Powell Drive, noticed a parked car that looked strange.
The car was empty, but there were blood stains and a broken key in the ignition, which raised concern. It was later confirmed that the car belonged to an off-duty traffic officer, which led to a quick search for him.
In response, police and city safety teams responded fast. They searched the area both on foot and from the air, hoping to find the injured Cape Town traffic officer before things got worse. The blood trail suggested he might be hurt, and time was running out.
Fortunately, just before 9am, the officer was found. He had been attacked and robbed, but he was alive. Currently, the police are now looking into what happened and trying to understand the full story.
