(The Post News) – The World Rugby has announced the World Rugby Women Awards 2025 and break through players nominees of the year. The winners will be crowned during a trophy presentation ceremony at the Women’s Rugby World Cup Final at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, in front of what is set to be a record-breaking, sold-out crowd. They will be honoured on the biggest stage of the women’s game, before a global audience on what promises to be a historic sporting occasion for women’s sport.
Since their launch in 2001, the World Rugby Awards have shone a spotlight on the best in the sport, not only players but also those who contribute through development and leadership, embodying rugby’s core values.
“This remarkable Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 has demonstrated the very best of our game – the values, the unity, the incredible energy. At the heart of its success are our players, the stars of the show, who have not only been exceptional performers on the field, but who have forged an incredible bond with fans,” said World Rugby Chairman Brett Robinson.
He continued to say they are excited to reveal the World Rugby Awards nominees in the women’s categories. “Congratulations to all, but also to all the players, coaches and match officials who have played their full part in an era-defining year for the sport.”
