(The Post News)– Spanish Grand Prix Road Motorcycle racer, Marc Marquez, won the 2025 MotoGP Championship, confirming his first world crown with Ducati and the manufacturer’s fourth consecutive title in the premier class on Sunday. The 32-year-old has become the greatest racer in the motorcycle industry, wrapping up the championship with five rounds still to run, underlining his dominance in his debut season in Ducati red.
Ending the longest drought in premier class history for a rider, Márquez went through years of injury hell and uncompetitive Honda machinery wearing away his confidence since 2020 before making a last-gasp move to Gresini Ducati for 2024.

This has paved the way for him to be crowned the 2025 title with the Italian brand. His recovery journey from the arm injury he sustained at the 2020 Spanish Grand Prix is well-documented, but at Motegi he admitted that the greatest challenge was overcoming his own mind. “I feel a strange mix of emotions; I am happy but not fully enjoying it, though I have finally found peace with myself after years of battling many obstacles,” he said.
He continued to add that he felt as if he was battling with himself, “two versions of me pulling in different directions.” In the end, he explained that he trusted his instincts, gave his all, and refused to stop trying, saying that what mattered most was the effort itself. Having achieved his goal, he added that he now simply wants to enjoy the moment rather than focus on the hardships he endured.
