(The Post News)- In commemoration of their second anniversary, American singer and actress Dove Cameron lately paid a moving, loving tribute to her lover, Damiano David, on Instagram.
The Descendants actress shared her gratitude for the Italian rock star’s presence in her own life. She shared a slideshow of pictures and clips with her heartfelt statement, giving followers a close-up look at their connection.
The pair can be seen eating dinner together while holding each other in their arms in the first five pictures. Cameron giggles, and David bites her ear in a lighthearted embrace.
In a different clip, David is seen tenderly brushing her face as the two of them go through their daily beauty routine. In the caption, Cameron writes, “The best two years of my life. Life has evolved into something so stunning with your involvement in it that I cry probably once a week.”
She continued by saying that words cannot describe how much she loves him. “Words cannot describe how much I love you, though I will always try. I hope you have a great anniversary, my darling,” she continued.
David’s response was straightforward but sincere: “The most enjoyable portion of staying alive.”
In 2023, fans saw Cameron attending one of David’s concerts, which led to the alleged initial dating speculation. They kissed on the red carpet at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy event in February 2024, thereby announcing their love.
Since then, they have persisted in appearing in public as a couple. In the soundtrack video for her song Whatever You Like earlier this year, Cameron included intimate video of their romance, providing a unique glimpse into their private affairs.
Cameron recalled their early days together in a 2024 chat with Cosmopolitan. She disclosed that neither of the two had serious ambitions when they first began hanging out.
She remarked, “It didn’t feel like a date at all. For eight hours, it was just the two of us asking interview-style questions, and it was very cautious and slow. At last, the question arose, Are we holding hands now?”
