(The Post News)- The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a statement that cold, wet, and windy conditions will have an impact in the Lowveld regions of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
SAWS stated that rain and strong winds continue to move along the eastern parts bordering Kruger National Park.
According to SAWS, heavy rain and thunderstorms from last the last week remain active. The cold front is expected through the weekend, bringing scattered rainfall, chilly winds, and periods of reduced visibility in parts of Nkomazi, Bushbuckridge, and the eastern part of Limpopo.
“Cold winds and rain continue across the Mpumalanga Lowveld and are gradually shifting along the Limpopo Lowveld. These areas, lying adjacent to the Kruger National Park, should expect persistent wet and breezy conditions,” SAWS said in a statement.
SAWS also urged tourists coming to Kruger National Park to exercise caution, as wet roads and limited visibility may affect travel within the region.
