(The Post News)– The National Selection Committee has named a 15-member squad for the T20I series against South Africa and the T20I tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. On the other hand, a 16-man team has been announced for the ODI series against Sri Lanka and South Africa.
According to the board, the T20I series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from 28 October to 1 November, while the T20I tri-series will be staged at the same venues from 17 to 29 November.
Abdul Samad, Babar Azam, and Naseem Shah return to the team in the T20I roster after being absent from the earlier matches. In the T20I team, Usman Tariq is the only player without a cap.
A three-match ODI series between South Africa and Pakistan, who are presently playing the second Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, will take place at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad from November 4 to 8. An additional three-match ODI series versus Sri Lanka will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 11 to 15.
Faisal Akram, Haris Rauf, and Haseebullah get another national call-up for the ODI series.
15-man T20I squad:
The 15-man squad includes Salman Ali Agha (captain), Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Nawaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jnr., Mohammad Salman Mirza, Naseem Shah, Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Usman Khan (wicket-keeper), and Usman Tariq.
Meanwhile, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Sufiyan Moqim are reserves.
16-man ODI squad:
The 16-man squad, on the other hand, has Shaheen Shah Afridi (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Faisal Akram, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Haseebullah, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Mohammad Wasim Jnr., Naseem Shah, Saim Ayub, and Salman Ali Agha.
