(The Post News)- Since she wed Prince Harry in May 2018, Meghan Markle’s life and profession have undergone significant transformation.
The Suits veteran is making a comeback to the screen after abandoning acting to take on royal responsibilities. According to reports, Meghan has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy Close Personal Friends, which will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios and star Jack Quaid, Lily Collins, Brie Larson, and Henry Golding.
Recently, Meghan made an appearance as herself on the California set of the movie currently in production. According to others in attendance, she appeared relaxed and obviously delighted to be back in a filmmaking atmosphere, despite her supposedly little role.
Given Meghan and her family’s neighboring Montecito home, the plot, which is set in Santa Barbara, centers on an average couple who makes friends with a famous couple while on vacation. Since retiring from key royal duties in 2020, the cameo also represents a deliberate next step in her developing career.
According to people with knowledge of the initiative, Meghan is doing the show to try new things and rekindle her passion for performance. She reportedly had a lot of proposals, but this project seemed like the right one, a playful return to the craft that initially made her well-known worldwide.
