(The Post News)– Real Madrid’s hopes of securing Vinicius Junior a long-term deal have hit a major roadblock. Tensions between the Brazilian star and head coach Xabi Alonso continue to simmer.
Sources close to the club confirm that Vinicius recently met with president Florentino Perez to discuss his future. Making it clear that he will not entertain contract extension talks until his relationship with Alonso improves.
Vinicius’s current deal runs until June 2027. But his stance sparked fears that Madrid is forced to sell him next summer to avoid losing him for free.
Why is he fighting Alonso?
