(The Post News)- On 26 November, a violent fight occurred outside the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). It spilled into the store. This forced staff to lock the doors to protect customers.
Eyewitness Confirms The Incident
Eyewitness Caseley, who was inside KFC with Natasha, Mrs Visionary winner in the Mrs Bold pageant reported that the commotion began outside between passengers and the driver of what was initially thought to be a minibus taxi. It was later established that the vehicle was a Bolt/Uber e-hailing car.

During the confrontation, the e-hailing driver allegedly produced and pointed a firearm at the passengers, sparking a physical fight. “Three males were beating the vehicle driver, and during the fight his own firearm was used as a weapon against him,” Caseley said.
The brawl quickly moved into the KFC, where terrified customers scrambled for safety. Caseley managed to intervene and disarm the driver, taking possession of the firearm to stop the escalating violence.
KFC staff promptly locked the doors to prevent the three men from re-entering the store and to safeguard everyone inside.
Security and armed response teams arrived shortly afterward, securing the premises while Ennerdale SAPS was alerted. Upon police arrival, the firearm was handed over to officers for safekeeping, and all involved parties were detained as part of the ongoing investigation.
